Updates
May 15th marks Dee’s adoption day!
Dee hangs out with me in the home office all day and naps about 2 hours at a time before demanding I pay attention to her. I'll let her out to the back yard where she'll usually play by herself for a little while before wanting to be by me or my resident dog some more.
She loves seeing people anywhere and everywhere, just a typical lab.
She's met the neighbor kids which are under 5 years old and I was surprised she didn't try to jump on them. She was loving their attention.
Dee will definitely need regular exercise to help her behave well at home. She goes for multiple long walks a day and runs around in my fenced yard for a couple hours a day. She learned to walk very well on leash and only needs minor reminders not to tug, unless she sees another dog she wants to meet.
She's very interested in other dogs and likes to play with them all. She has a rougher play style and doesn't have the best manners with them, but she's submissive when other dogs yell at her. Dee would enjoy a home with a social doggy friend. Dee does not live with cats.
Dee keeps quiet in her crate and just takes a nap. Unattended in another room she'll usually try to find my resident dog or me - she'd rather have one of us with her (and she prefers my dog, even though my dog doesn't like her).
She already knows: Sit, stay, lay down, roll over, get up, and is mildly crate trained.
