I'm a great sleeper and sleep through the night both in a crate or in my human's bed. I wake up around 7 am every morning, and either wait for my foster to come get me from my crate or wait patiently for the morning alarm to go off if we're cuddling in bed. I really like getting pets from my humans and eating! I'm a good eater and do a cute little bunny hop when my food is coming to the bowl. My favorite toy is a stuffed alligator, and I bring him around to every cozy surface in the apartment.

I like being close to my humans and usually want to be right next to them on the couch. I warm up fairly quickly to new visitors, as long as they give good pets. I've only met kids when walking on the bike path but have always been friendly and approached them slowly to give 'em a sniff.

I'm a low to medium energy pup. Most of the day I sleep on the couch or at my foster's feet while she works. I sometimes get a small burst of energy in the evening when I want to play, but it never lasts long. I am warming up to the outdoors. I walk well on the leash, always sticking close to my foster, and enjoy going for short walks on the bike path and seeing the other people and bikers. But I'm always excited when we get to go back inside. I just like knowing I have a home!

I say “hi” to some dogs on the bike path, but some of them make me a little nervous. I like people more. I haven't met a cat yet, so I haven't determined my feelings for felines.

My humans trust me enough to let me roam free in the apartment when they leave for a few hours at a time. For the most part, I've done so well! Usually I just sleep on the couch and wait for them to come home. However, one time they left me for 6-7 hours and I got nervous and chewed the ottoman. So maybe don't leave me for long periods just yet. I need a little more time to get used to my surroundings. But I know I will get there!

I rarely bark and am learning sit for the first time. I catch on quickly and it doesn't hurt that the treats are so good. I can't wait to meet my forever family - I hope they like to give lots of pets and belly rubs!
