PUPDATE 2
The pups stayed with sitters recently while I was working and the sitters only had super positive things to say. Chrissy stayed with a couple of dogs and cats as well as a 13 year old and did well with all. She really adored the 13 year old human and made fast friends with her over the three nights she was there.
Chrissy can sleep through the night super well and is just so loving and sweet!
PUPDATE 1
Say hello to Chrissy! She's a lovely young lady who was rescued from a shelter in Louisiana with her brother Jack a couple months ago. She and her brother dealt with a bit of mange and bad skin, but their wonderful fosters were able to help them heal up. These kids are very submissive but extremely friendly and loving and can't wait for forever homes full of love!
Chrissy can sleep through the night in her crate and can do crate sessions during the day if needed with potty breaks every couple hours. She's still working on potty training but is comfortable going potty outside so just needs help learning that she should ask if she needs a potty break. Chrissy loves to play with toys or a good chew toy. She really likes her Himalayan yak cheese chews! Chrissy also loves to play with other dogs and has done well with my three personal dogs of varying temperaments. She also lives with two cats currently and is curious about them but leaves them alone when asked to.
Chrissy is relatively submissive with humans and may shy away at first when you go to grab her, but she is a little braver than her brother. She is extremely warm and friendly with everyone she's met and will typically come up to calm people to say hello relatively quickly. If you sit on the floor, she'll quickly come over to curl in your lap for some love and snuggles. Chrissy has not met children except through a fence while with me. She is relatively quiet and has only barked here and there during play time in the yard.
Chrissy had her last checkup with the vet a couple days ago and did great. She's fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped. She just has some small rashes in her armpits that she currently has some ointment for that we put on twice daily. Otherwise she's looking great!
