Updates

We are fostering adorable littermates Cold Brew and Cheese. The household wakes up between 4 and 4:30am, potty and poop breaks begin the day followed by breakfast and playtime. More potty and poop breaks and playtime are alternated until we leave for work at 7/7:30am. The puppies get a lunchtime potty/poop break around 11am/12pm as well as a snack. From 4pm until bedtime (8:30pm), we rotate with other dogs for poop/potty breaks, playtime, naptime, and dinner. While this schedule works for us, keep in mind that dogs will adjust to their new schedules in their forever homes.

Cheese LOVES meeting new people! Given his age, he’s not fully vaccinated, so he is "no paws on the ground" and we do not go in public spaces for infection prevention reasons.

Cheese is a rambunctious, energetic, happy puppy who can play for hours but then crash hard. We have started leash training in the house, and he's done well so far.

Cheese plays and interacts appropriately with our female bull boxer. Continued socialization once he is fully vaccinated is imperative for his growth and development.

Cheese will demonstrate a play bow and wag his tail and bark excitedly when he sees our cat, but he does not chase her or seem to want to attack her.

When left alone, Cheese will bark and cry for 5-10 minutes but then settles in and naps. He is crated whenever unsupervised for safety.

Cheese is a typical puppy and is working on potty training - but he’s improving every day!

Cheese is a joyful, fun, and silly puppy who will make a wonderful companion and family dog.
