Officially adopted on November 5, 2020!
Charles wakes around 8:30 am and eats right away. He then goes for a 30-40 minute walk. Charles sleeps until around noon. He goes on another walk after lunch and then runs around off leash in the courtyard in my apartment building. Then he is low energy until he eats dinner around 5 pm and goes on another walk. Charles spends sometime in the crate, goes on a late night walk (around 9:30 pm) and then goes to sleep.
He loves girls, is also good with boys. Charles tends to be very playful and inquisitive. He can nip at hands and clothing when excited, but settles down and loves people.
Charles goes on 4 walks a day (at least 3 miles throughout the course of the day). He lives in an apartment now, so he doesn't spend as much time outside as he wants to. He likes to run around and play. Charles is good on the leash and getting better; gets distracted when there are a lot of people around but is great in calm areas.
He loves playing with other dogs. Charles loves playing with other dogs so he would love a doggy sibling. He gets nervous and may bark from a distance, but he warms up quickly. He has had no exposure to cats.
When left alone Charles cries for a little bit at first but settles down in under 5 minutes. He is fine when in the crate, but if left out, he tends to chew on non-toy items.
Charles is a great dog. He would enjoy a backyard and children to play with, and if possible, another dog in the home.
