PUPDATE #2

Cannellini has had ZERO accidents in over a week and always tells us when she wants to go out. Her ears keep growing and she is so cute when she uses them to express herself! She is so loving and loves attention. When we leave her to play in the living room she has to reorganize all of the pillows on our sofa, she doesn’t try to eat them or anything — just rearrange! She loves her bean bag chair and loves to curl up right next to us.

PUPDATE #1

Cannellini wakes up at around 7:45 AM everyday, she immediately goes outside to pee and then has breakfast. She gets very excited for breakfast and once she eats she mellows out. We usually then go for a walk so she can poop and pee again and then come home and she plays with her toys. She can play by herself for a few hours and then we go for another walk so she can go to the bathroom and have some outdoor time. If she goes over to her food bowl multiple times when we get home from her walk I will give her half a serving of her food for lunch. She then usually plays with her toys some more, we play fetch with her tennis ball, and then she takes a nap until the late afternoon. She eats dinner at around 5:45 PM and then goes for another walk. She gets super tired around 8 PM but I try to keep her active for as long as I can to ensure that she sleeps through the night. She has been sleeping through the night in her crate every night since I took her home with no problems! I try to take away her water bowl at about 7:30 PM and then I let her out one last time before bed. When it is bedtime I give her two small anytime Greenies in her crate to get her to go in, and then cover the crate and she goes straight to sleep.

Cannellini is incredibly friendly, I don't think anything scares her. Since the moment she came home with me she was excited to meet my friends who came to play with her, and she becomes very comfortable very fast. She loves to sleep in people’s laps and give them kisses. She loves men with facial hair! When we go for walks she loves to say hi to everyone and anyone, since she is still so small I try to keep her walking as straight as possible and only say hi to people who approach her rather than anyone walking by. She has become incredibly taken with me, she loves to snuggle and sit on my lap while I do work on my computer. She is usually very chill, but sometimes she really does need to be near you. Otherwise, she is great with people of all ages!

Cannellini has not had much exposure to children, but when we have been walking outside and a child approaches her she sits eagerly waiting for them to play with her. She hasn't had any long-term exposure to children.

Cannellini, especially for a puppy, is a minimally-energetic dog. She is definitely excited to wake up in the morning and loves to play when appropriate but she spends a lot of time just hanging around. She usually needs 1-2 25ish minute walks a day and that seems to be enough to get most of her energy out. She is still working on walking on a leash, her harness definitely helps. For how little she is, she is getting a lot better at walking on her leash, she likes to stay close to whoever is walking her but sometimes gets bursts of energy and runs ahead.

Cannellini is very curious and loves to interact with other dogs. In the time that I have had her she hasn't been exposed off leash to other dogs, but while we are walking outside she is good when approaching other dogs. She isn't too jumpy, she just likes to sniff and be on her way.

Cannellini  has had no exposure to cats.

Cannellini seems to be fine when left alone. She will sometimes whine for a moment when we leave but she is totally fine and excited when we come back. She doesn't tear through our house while were gone so I can only imagine that she sits on the couch and plays with her toys while we're gone.

She responds well to her name and loves people!!!

Cannellini is still too young to be spayed, so she will be adopted out with a refundable deposit and a spay addendum to her contract with the agreement she will be spayed once she's had a chance to grow and mature a bit.
