Updates
Buzz wakes up at 6ish, goes potty outside and eats breakfast. He plays with toys either alone or with our resident dog until about 8am when he gets put in his crate for nappy time until 9am. Then it's potty time and play time with our resident dogs again until noon, when it's lunch time and then nappy time until 2pm. The rest of the day is spent sleeping and playing until our evening pack walk and then dinner and bed time at 9pm. Buzz sleeps through the night in his crate!
Buzz is a little timid at first when meeting people and may bark once or twice, but he warms up fast and quickly becomes best friends with every dog and person he meets! He has been introduced to all sorts of people and kids of all ages as well as our two resident dogs. He greets everyone with big full body butt wiggles! Buzz has met toddlers and young children and has been very gentle and sweet with them. He is still a puppy so monitoring interactions would be recommended.
Buzz is quite literally the perfect puppy. He plays hard, then he naps hard. He would do great in a house with another dog that likes to play, or with humans that like to get outside and be active. His leash manners are pretty good, but the world is exciting so he wants to stop and see everything!
Buzz does great with other dogs once he knows they are not a threat. He can bark at dogs when he first meets them, but quickly learns whether they are friends to play with or dogs to give space to. He and our 1 year old resident dog are best pals, while our 11 year old resident dog is cranky and Buzz gives her lots of respectful space. He has not been introduced to cats. No exposure as of yet.
Buzz is crate trained and should be put in a crate when left alone. As he is still a puppy, he can get into household items if not monitored. He does great in his crate and quiets down for a nap in no time!
Buzz is super sweet and very smart. He listens to commands really well and loves to please. If we didn't already have two dogs, we would definitely be foster failing with him because he really is the perfect puppy! Someone is going to get a wonderful pup :)
