I wake up in the morning with my family after sleeping a nice long night on the bed. I am a good girl that goes potty outside and likes to play with others, but when it is time for my Foster Mom to go, I get really sad and yell at her for leaving. The happiest part of my day is when she comes home and I can lick everyone and tell them how happy I am they are home. I also love breakfast and dinner time, as well as anytime with treats. I dance at these times, but my FM is working on making me "sit" and "wait" to get my food.
I love people! I love children most of all. I love to snuggle them, lick them, share food with them, listen to them read, anything to do with small humans, I am a fan of. I sometimes bark at people as they walk past my house, but I am not mean. I am yelling at them to stop and play with me, they don't seem to understand that, so my FM is working on "Leave it" with me. She says I'm getting better, I hope that means I get more loving soon.
I LOVE CHILDREN! Big ones, little ones, medium ones, all of them, but especially the sticky ones that drop food, or the ones that are lying in bed and need a snuggle. I snuggle with my current children as much as they will let me. I always have an eye on them and like to make sure they are being safe. I love kids.
I love to run! Take me running with you and I am so excited. I walk ok with a harness, but sometimes I need to be redirected because I am so excited to be out. We are working on this, FM says I am very smart and learn quickly, but I still need reminding.
I love to play with others, however, a slow introduction is best. I have been through a lot in my short life, and sometimes I'm unsure at first so I try to act tough. I have lived with lots of other dogs and gone to daycare and done fine, I just need a slow introduction at first. I am working on "leave it" for the dogs that walk past my house.
I like to try to play with the cats in my FM's house. One of them just stares at me, the other runs. I like the one that runs because I think it is a game. She has stopped running lately, and now it isn't as fun. I usually leave them alone to watch out the window now.
I HATE to be alone. I am so afraid I am being abandoned and left for dead again. I do better if other dogs are with me. My FM kennels me when she leaves, and I voice my opinion about it loudly. I am not as loud if I am left out and have another dog with me, but then all the doors and windows must be locked so I don't follow my people. I really love my people.
I am super smart, and super full of love. I had a horrible start to life and almost didn't make it because of some awful people, but I don't hold that against anyone. I love people more than anything else in the world. I will be a wonderful girl for you, I just need to know that you are there for me, and won't abandon me. If you give me that chance, you will have a very loyal companion and the very BEST snuggler in the world.
