Updates

Happily ever after is March 15 for Bo!

Bo came to us from a shelter so we weren't really sure what to expect. We were very surprised when he immediately loved both of us human fosters and seemed to trust us pretty quickly. We found out that Bo is the most trained foster we've had so far. He knows lots of commands and listens really well. He's also treat motivated so can continue to learn!

Bo needs slow introductions to other animals. He is a big guy and likes to be in charge so he does best with non-dominant dogs but has also adjusted pretty well to being around our other dominant dog as long as we gave them lots of time to get to know each other. Its unclear at this point if Bo does well with cats. He has been nose to nose with ours through the gate and didn't act aggressively though he is very interested in the cat so we have not introduced them without the gate yet.

Bo has some anxiety while settling in. He will pace and quietly whimper if he's anxious. He did this a lot when we first got him but in a week he's been doing it significantly less already. Due to this, Bo might do best with children old enough to understand to give Bo the space he needs to settle in.

Bo will make a very loyal companion to the right home! He is so loving and cuddly once he is comfortable. He loves to give and get kisses and snuggles and is very tolerant and patient once he feels safe.
