Little Bit found her furever family February 20, 2021!

Bit Bit spends her day sleeping until you wake up, takes a potty walk, has breakfast, then sleeps and hangs out with you the rest of the day until dinner. She has a potty walk before bedtime. Bit Bit just loves walks and silently staring out the window at squirrels while you work, but her favorite game is cuddling!

She does well with the humans in her household but is scared of strangers in the house, especially men. When female family came to visit, she barked a little then warmed up to them. Bit Bit has met a roommate's boyfriend many times, but is not yet comfortable around him. Adopters will need to help this young pup learn that strangers are okay.  She has had no exposure to children.

Bit Bit walks in the morning and evening, and prefers an afternoon walk too. She loves to take in all the outdoor smells but will continue walking when called. She generally keeps pace but pulls a bit at the beginning of the walk because she is excited to be outside. In cold weather, she wears a coat and booties, and sometimes a sweater indoors.

She used to live with another Chihuahua named Baby before she came to Fetch. She has no foster siblings in her current home but is happy when she sees other dogs outside.  She has had no exposure to cats.

Bit Bit quietly whines a little when left alone but settles down and sleeps until you return. She crates well at night with a little encouragement. We only crated her once during the day for a few hours with a peanut buttered toy and she did great.

The noted some tartar accumulation and its recommended she have a dental in the next 1-2 years.  She could stand to lose about 20% of her current weight.  Healthy weight lose is slow and steady.

Bit Bit is utterly adorable, cuddly, gentle, and responds great to verbal cues. She loves to be around her people, put her sweater on, and sleep under the blankets by your feet. Her cuddles will keep you toasty and her sweetness will warm your heart!
