Biscotti typically wakes up at 6am to eat her breakfast and go outside. She eats in her crate, since we are teaching her that her crate is a safe and wonderful place to be! After that, she is ready to play, and will play until she drops and takes an adorable puppy nap. She does this many times per day, since she is only 9 weeks old! After her lunch and dinner, Biscotti loves to snuggle on the couch, as close to you as she can get! She will fall asleep around 9pm and sleeps all night in her crate.
Biscotti loves all people! She is a typical puppy, so anyone that will play with her is amazing! She runs right up to people and usually flips on her back for a belly rub!
She loves to play with children (she has 4 human "siblings" in her foster home) and has enough energy to keep up with all of them! Biscotti would do very well in a home with children. Of course, she is being taught not to chew on little fingers, but that will settle in with time.
Biscotti is a high-energy pup who is willing to play as long as she possibly can. She needs many sessions of play throughout the day to wear her out! We are working up to walking on a leash, so she is willing to follow our resident dog around the subdivision. She is not so willing if another pup isn't there to guide her, but we are working on that! She tends to be a touch shy when she is on her own but is not afraid to play with larger dogs and show them who's boss!
She plays well with our Great Pyrenees puppy, and does not let her size hold her back. Biscotti loves to snuggle him, but also plays rough when she needs to. She is not reactive to dogs outside the home and knows her boundaries. She is very shy when meeting new dogs and is ready to play when they are. She would do well with another well-mannered dog in the home. Biscotti has never met a cat.
Biscotti has made great improvement in her crate when left alone. She is not allowed to free-roam since she is still very much a puppy. She may whine for a minute or two, but then settles in for a nap in her crate. Be ready for her excitement when you return! Biscotti has a high-energy greeting like none you've ever experienced!
Biscotti will be an amazing addition to any growing family. She is a complete sweetheart who loves to cuddle her humans!
