PUPDATE 2
Bambi loves spending time outdoors in the nice weather. He likes going for walks and chewing on his Nylabones. He still needs to go out at night but is getting much better at potty training throughout the day. He likes to explore and chill in the warm grass.
PUPDATE 1
Bambi gets let once a night to go potty. She then starts to stir at about 5:30 am for breakfast/potty break which is when we generally get up to start our day. He immediately goes outside, comes in to eat, and then he heads back outside to finish her morning business. When that’s all done, he spends the rest of the day playing with his foster pup sister until her next nap or feeding time. Bambi is a medium energy pup who would like to play or snuggle in your lap.
Inside the home Bambi loves people and will greet all with a wagging tail. Outside the home he is more timid and would prefer slow intros or just left to his own. He isn’t aggressive and he doesn’t bark but he will cower and back away and this is true for other dogs as well. Bambi lives with two adults and two kids ages 3 & 8 years old and his foster pup sister and loves all equally.
Bambi does great with the kids. He can get mouthy which can cause some friction but when he is not mouthy Bambi plays tug-o-war, fetch or cuddles with the kids. He will let the kids know, or anyone for that matter, if they are playing too rough by letting out his roar.
Bambi is getting better on walks but he still would rather play and bite on his leash then keep moving. If something scares, him he will turn around. He does better when walking with his foster sis because he can look to her for guidance. Bambi enjoys playing in the backyard for long stretches of time followed by long naps in his doggy bed.
Bambi isn't really interested in other dogs at this time. He is scared of the neighbor dog and will keep his distance. At this point, he generally ignores other dogs on walks. He hasn't been exposed to cats.
Bambi hasn’t been left alone without another dog present. He will bark a bit when we leave but settles quickly. At night, he will do the same. He sleeps in his crate with his foster sis. Bambi doesn’t mind being the only one in the room if everyone else is spread throughout the house.
Bambi is a playful, snuggly dog. He has picked up on ‘sit’ very quick and he is getting really great at consistently going potty outside. He communicates well and plays well with adults, children and other dogs. He loves a game of fetch and tug-o-war. He is a pretty easy-going pup and fun to watch and play with. He is a super great cuddle buddy.
