PUPDATE 2
This little pupper is as cute as they come! He has stunning clear blue/gray eyes and a beautiful subtly brindle gray coat.
Hugo loves to play around out in the yard and chew on any sticks he can find. Hugo is currently living with his brother and enjoys playing around with him every chance he can get. He is very social with other dogs and understands their boundaries well. He tries his best to mimic what they are doing and be a grown-up dog. Hugo does not live with any cats.
Once Hugo gets tired out from playing around, he likes to mellow out and nap in his kennel for a few hours every few hours.
Hugo likes to make his foster parents aware that there are new people around, with a few deep barks. But the next second he is happy to meet them and lick their faces.
He has met children between the ages of 5-10 on a few occasions and did very well. He sat nicely and let them pet him and walk him on the leash. He tried to give them kisses too.
He has a stoic and independent personality. While Hugo likes to horse around with his foster brother, he is starting to follow in the footsteps of the resident older dog and enjoys just sitting out on the back porch or yard to "stand guard" for anything that might come his way.
Hugo has been doing very well on his potty training and doesn't have accidents very often. He signals when he is ready to go out by sitting by the door and takes care of his business as soon as he's let outside.
Hugo is still a young puppy, so he is kenneled when his foster parents leave the house. He takes this time to nap and usually doesn't whine, but if so, not for long.
