Baby found her people June 30, 2021!

Baby sleeps on her fluffy cloud dog bed in her foster parents' bedroom until foster mom gets up around 6am. Baby loves her people, so she waits for some pets and then is ready to go into the backyard to potty. After going potty and playing a little with her foster brothers, Baby comes in for breakfast. After breakfast, she goes back out to play some more, goes potty, and then comes back in for the day. On days her foster parents are working, Baby goes into her crate with a special treat and lays down. She is crated for the whole 8 hour workday until about 4pm. When foster parents are home, Baby gets free roam of the house and spends her days playing, chewing on toys, and napping. Baby was a little underweight when she first came to WI, so she eats lunch around 4pm and then eats again for dinner around 7pm. Between 9-10pm, Baby is ready for her last potty break and heads to her cloud bed for a good night's sleep with foster parents.

Baby thinks people are the absolute best! She can be a little shy when she first meets you, and she does her best to move slowly and calmly for pets. Once she's comfortable with someone, she's ready to play, get belly rubs, and work on her doggo skills for treats!

Baby has met lots of kids since she's arrived in WI! She thinks little kids are really cool because they sometimes drop food and she can easily give them kisses! Baby has done wonderfully with kids of many ages ranging from 1 - 9 years old. She's a gentle girl and rarely jumps, but she does really like food, so careful supervision is a must (as it always is with kids and pets).

Baby has excellent energy-adaptation skills! She loves to chase and wrestle, to lay down and chew, to snuggle, and to nap. She'll read the energy around her and adapt as necessary, as long as she gets her playtime in at some point during the day!

Baby loves meeting new dog friends! She has two foster brothers in her foster home, so she's used to sharing space and toys with other dogs. She's also visited with 4 other dogs of various ages, genders, and sizes and has loved them all as well! When meeting new friends, Baby can get really excited, but she listens to commands well and will give the dog space if instructed to.  Baby has not met a cat in foster care.

Since she's still a puppy, Baby is still learning what counts as a toy and what she's NOT supposed to chew on. To make sure she's safe while unsupervised, Baby goes into her crate with some of her favorite toys, a water bowl, and a soft bed. Baby is happy to go into her crate and doesn't make any noise while in there.

Baby would do best in a house rather than an apartment because she will bark when she sees other dogs or when she hears unfamiliar noises. She loves to run free in the fenced in backyard but also does great on her leash during walks. She is an easy-going snugglebug who loves to spend time with her people. Baby loves having doggie siblings, but she would likely be just as happy as an only dog. She can't wait for her furever family to find her!
