Atticus found his family on October 28, 2020!
Atticus wakes up and eats breakfast around 8 am. He goes out for short pee walks once every two hours, and longer walks twice a day. He is definitely a dog that needs long walks, he just needs to get better at walking on a leash. Atticus is very playful during the day, loves to run around and play with toys. He eats dinner around 6 pm, is walked after dinner and taken out to pee every two hours at night. He usually goes to bed around midnight and sleeps in his crate until about 8 am.
He is very friendly towards humans and children. He is a little shy at first, but once he gets used to the people, he is with he is very playful, friendly, and happy.
Atticus is a medium energy dog, can be a hyper puppy and can also sleep for hours at a time. He definitely needs a big back yard or space to run around in, he loves to run and get his energy out. He would also benefit from long walks, he needs to get better at walking on a leash but he has already improved since we have had him so there is potential for him to get much better at that.
He lives in an apartment without other animals. Atticus is shy when other dogs approach him, but he is not necessarily scared of them. He is not aggressive at all with other animals, it is just unfamiliar territory and something he would not have a problem getting used to. Atticus will need a family to help continue socializing him.
Atticus is fully crate trained and enjoys being in his crate. We can leave him out of his crate alone for short periods of time and he usually just takes a nap during that time.
Atticus is an amazing dog. He is so sweet and loving and just needs a family who will love him and play with him.
