Updates

Anders went home to his forever family on October 4, 2020! His new name will be Reacher :)

Anders gets up about 5:30-6 am. He needs to go immediately outside to pee. Once he comes in, he eats in his crate at 6 am. We all walk 1.5-3 miles every morning. He hangs in his crate or plays with my dogs or 4 year old grandson. He loves to run and play with my older puppy in the backyard. He naps throughout the day like a puppy. He eats morning noon and evening. He usually snoozes through his evening

He is very mellow and loves everyone. He immediately approaches new people and loves to be loved!

Anders needs play time and loves to play with my older puppy. He will play tug-o-war. He is medium energy pup and play time is 15-20 minutes long. He naps frequently through the day. Walking helps set up his day.

He gets along well with other dogs and doesn’t seem to have a fear of dogs we have met out walking. He is going to meet cats this weekend, but he is so laid back, I don’t expect problems.

Anders struggles when you first leave in the crate and he can get loud. It seems to stop within a few minutes. He has improved tremendously over the course of his foster time. He can be distracted by a Kong treat toy or ball with treats. We have achieved a few minutes of quiet when I return. He waits for me to come to let him out.

Anders has a wonderful personality! He is an easy dog. Potty training has really improved in the past week.
