Lou and I went on a run today and she did so well, she is really starting get the hang of the leash!!
PUPDATE 2
Alousa, (Lou Lou) is such a love. She has learned sit, lay down and we are working on stay and roll over! She is very content playing with her toys and she LOVES her crate. She loves sitting in the window soaking in the sun and watching the neighborhood action. She’s went to daycare a few times and they say she’s a natural and all the other dogs love her.
PUPDATE 1
Alousa wakes up around 6 -7 am and goes right out to potty. She spends most of the day lounging and going out for about three 1-2 mile walks (where she hopefully finds another dog to play with). She eats twice a day morning and night. She caps the night with some snuggles on the couch and hits the hay in her crate around 9 pm.
Alousa LOVES new people and kids. She will lick you if you get in close but is very sweet about it.
She's pretty mellow around the house, but definitely requires her play time to keep her that way. She pulls hard on the leash when she is energized, but we have been working on this a lot and she's already gotten a lot better. However, she is not at all aggressive on the leash, just pulls hard.
Alousa love dogs. Even dogs that don't love dogs. She's found a way to make a good friendship with dogs of all temperaments. She has met one neighborhood cat indoors and completely left the cat alone.
When left alone, Alousa is sad. She will whine and bark initially, before self-soothing and relaxing.
She's the sweetest pup. Her underbite is known to win any human over she meets. She'll sleep in the goofiest positions and is a loyal member of the pack. This dog has quickly adjusted to the Wisconsin lifestyle; if you have a string cheese in your pocket, she'll do just about anything you ask her.
