Uno is fostered in a multi-dog home and doing very well. Now that her littermate has been adopted, Uno is ready to find a home of her own!
Uno gets up at 6 am and goes outside to potty. She eats and then goes out again to potty. She snoozes a lot in the morning. If I am gone, she is in an open crate with a pen. She is still working on potty training but has made great progress in this area. She likes rewards for going potty outside! We take her out after a nap and every 3 hours throughout the day. She naps on and off through the day with the other dogs and plays or chews during her awake times. She rarely chews on non-toys and will pick toys out of the dog toy box. She likes antlers. She eats at noon and again at 6 pm. She is VERY excited about meal time!! More potty and play again after dinner and then she snoozes from about 8 pm until bed at 10 pm. She sleeps straight through the night.
Uno greets new people with caution but little treats from them help her adjust. She is a snuggle bug once she gets to know you. She is still wary of new situations but is learning to adjust quickly.
Uno plays by my 6 year old grandson and likes pets, belly rubs and love from him. She gives little kisses. She needs reminders not to be mouthy and is learning “no bite” and “gentle” when she gets excited. She is doing better with it. Uno spent 10 days with a sitter in a home with four 8-12 year old boys and a 17 yo girl and they LOVED her. She likes to please and is learning a few simple commands.
Uno is a medium energy puppy. She plays outside and inside with other dogs. She will submit if one of the dogs gets annoyed with her. She likes to play tug with you, chase balls and loves good chewing toys. Uno is getting used to her harness and leash and took short walks with the sitter’s kids.
Uno loves all dogs she has met and wants them to play with her. My 9 month old pup is very accommodating. My 4 year old dog likes limited interactions on his time and my 11 year old Golden Retriever likes to nap with them. She played well with the sitter’s larger 1 year old dog and enjoyed running the fence line with neighbor dogs.
Uno lived with a cat at the sitters. She was curious yet respectful.
Uno has a crate and small pen area. She sleeps or chews on toys when I am gone. I have a camera to monitor the activity. She is quiet and settles down quickly. At night, I leave lullaby music on low to provide comfort and relaxation. She sleeps through the night. If I am home and she is in her pen, she may whine a bit for attention but settles down with reminders.
Uno is a sweet pup that loves her people and other dogs. She is a young puppy that would benefit from someone who is patient and provides her with multiple opportunities to try new things until she is comfortable with them.
