Turkey found her family June 5!
Turkey does well in her crate overnight. She potties and sniffs around in the fenced yard for a bit before breakfast, some play time and a walk. She loves playing fetch and sparring with our resident Pomeranian in between meals and naps.
Turkey needs some time to warm up to new people, but does well with slow introductions.
Turkey has only met one 12 year old child, and doesn't do well with sudden movements or hands reaching for her.
She's high energy during play time and loves to zoom around the yard. She loves walks and does pretty well on a leash, but we're working on her pulling.
Turkey loves our resident Pomeranian, playing and sharing well with her. She's fearful of larger dogs. She has no exposure to cats.
After properly exercised, Turkey does well in her crate alone but hasn't been left for more than a couple hours at a time.
The Wisconsin vet noted a fractured tooth and removed the visible signs of the tooth. Adopters should monitor for eruption of adult teeth and seek dental radiographs if not all teeth erupt in the next few months.
Turkey is a smart and adorable puppy who's made huge progress since her arrival.
