Timmy found his people on November 28, 2020!

I leave Timmy out in the kitchen overnight where he sleeps quietly in his crate unprompted. He loves his morning walk and breakfast and he'll lie quietly next to me while I work remotely. He likes to wrestle around with my resident dog and play fetch.

Timmy has been friendly with everyone as long as I've seen him. He likes to be pet and hasn't had any trouble with visitors. He's barked a few times at neighbors he sees through the fence but hasn't shown any aggression and doesn't show much interest in other people on walks.

He is gentle taking treats and doesn't seem to have any sensitivity to being touched. Timmy has not met kids while in his Wisconsin foster home.

Timmy gets two walks a day plus some play with my resident dog or with a ball. With that, he seems content to spend most of the rest of his day relaxed. He would enjoy a fenced in yard, but it wouldn’t be a requirement.

Timmy gets along well with my resident dog. He likes to wrestle and can play a little rough, so he would do best with a dog around his size. I feed them separately, but sometimes he has been in the room when she is eating and he doesn't try to steal and sometimes she has gotten a little close when he's eating and he hasn't gotten overprotective. On walks he notices other dogs but doesn't react much. He'll bark at the neighbor dog when he sees him through the fence and can't reach him.  He hasn't had any interactions with cats while I've been watching him.

He hasn't shown any destructive tendencies. He'll chew his own toys but hasn't chewed anything else. Timmy has no problem going a full night without being let out, though in carpeted areas he's marked a few times.

Timmy seems very food motivated and easy to train. He already knew "sit" and "shake" and with just a couple sessions he was picking up "down".
