Estelle arrived about 3 weeks ago and adjusted quickly to the new place. She is a big cuddler and her favorite time of the day is when she gets to lay in bed with the humans of the home before bedtime. Cute little quirk about her is all of the moaning groaning noises she makes when she sleeps and stretches. They are so cute, she sometimes sounds like a baby cow. Another favorite part of Estelle’s day is mealtime! She has a mealtime dance she does when she hears her kibble hit her bowl. She lets us sit with her, pet and touch her while she eats her food. She likes to get outside for walks and find all the good smells to smell. She walks very well and gently on her leash often there is slack as we go about the walk, unless she sees a squirrel or rabbit She is super excited when she sees people and dogs out on her walk. She thinks all of the people are just as excited to see her and she is to see them. Estelle is very excited to meet children. She is still a typical puppy and when kids get hyper and rowdy she thinks they want to play with her and she can get a little rougher then small children like. The toddler in our home can pet her and be affectionate to her and she handles these situations very well. She likes to meet the dogs she sees and play with them. She’s a good napper throughout the day when humans are around the home and she easily entertains herself with all of her toys. She likes to pull all of them out of the toy box throughout the day to make sure they all are well loved and do not feel left out. She has not meet a cat in our home. Over the three weeks, we have been working on getting to know her and perfecting our communication with each other. She’s had a few pee accidents here and there and still needs to be taken out frequently to try to pee as she has not mastered notifying humans of her potty needs, yet.
