Theo is a a spunky little guy who loves attention and play! He does well at doggy daycare during the day, but can also spend a few hours at a time relaxing in a crate with something to chew on! He picks up on routines quickly and loves to work on training as long as you have treats!
Theo loves people! He wants to say hi to everyone he meets! He doesn’t mind if new people come to the house!
Theo has had no exposure to children.
Theo is a medium energy pup! He likes to play with other dogs or the cat at home. He likes to learn new things and go on walks! But he also does a good job of settling in for a nap if left alone in his crate with a comfy bed or blanket!
He is just learning how to be on leash, so he might tangle you up a little bit! He loves getting to sniff around outside though!
Theo is a little bit nervous at first with big dogs, but he has made a few bigger dog friends as well as friends closer to his size! He is learning to sit and get treats instead of barking at the dogs he sees outside!
Theo really wants to play with the cat in his current home. If you have a cat that likes to play too it could be a great fit! However a shy cat may be overwhelmed!
Theo is still left alone only in a crate to prevent accidents. He will whine a bit at first in his crate, especially if he can still see you. However, after a couple minute he will settle in and take a nap if he has something comfy to sleep on!
Theo is sweet, and absolutely adorable in a sweater, but he is NOT a toy! He will do amazing in a home that teaches him to be a confident, independent dog. However, he shows signs of guarding his owner, so far only from other dogs, and having separation anxiety from people, if he is constantly being babied and held.
