Tawny is an estimated 2 year old pit bull mix from a Louisiana shelter. She is the sweetest dog and a very well behaved girl. She has a bit of youthful energy and loves a daily walk, a game of fetch or a run around the yard. After she's gotten to play, all she wants is to snuggle on the couch and be your 50 pound lap warmer. She is potty trained and crate trained, and crates well while we are at work for 8-10 hours. She loves our 2 other dogs and and is respectful of our backyard chickens. She was a little afraid of our cats at first but after a slow introduction she interacts with them very well. Tawny has not yet met any kids. Tawny loves to be our shadow, following us around the house and tilting her head at us in curiosity. Tawny likes to be near us when outside, but will climb wire fences in search of people if left alone, so she needs to be supervised or on a line when outside. Tawny is a great dog that aims to please her people and will make a great cuddle buddy!
