Sparkle is a Very. Good. Puppy.

Sparkle was born into foster care in TX on 11/2/25 and made the journey to WI with her momma and littermates on 12/6/25. She has grown up with loving care and all sorts of puppy socialization. She is very brave, and hasn’t met a person or animal she doesn’t love. Things that don’t scare her: wild kids coming and going, the vacuum, a blow dryer, hockey games, gymnastics practice, the garbage truck, and our mean cat.

Sparkle is very eager to please her people, and is always paying attention to us and our reactions to her. My 9 year old daughter taught her “sit” and “lay” in one afternoon! She’s a smart cookie.

She plays nicely with our two old-lady resident dogs, and gets the hint when they don’t want to be bothered by a puppy any longer. She also loves playing with the cat, who is more her size at this point,

Even though Sparkle is only 9 weeks, she only wakes up once overnight to go potty. Otherwise she sleeps in her kennel next to the bed. The first night she needed some reassurance, but she is learning the routines in our household very easily. She is practicing hanging out in her kennel for a few hours at a time during the day when I’m in the office, and is doing really well.

Sparkle is doing well with potty training. She knows to go potty outside, and is quick to get her business done so she can go back to playing. She would rather be carried on a walk than do the walking herself at this point … but she’s still a baby. She does enjoy “protecting” us from any leaves that she encounters outside.

Sparkle has 2 modes right now – playtime and snuggling/sleeping. When she isn’t ready to wrestle her toys, she’s happiest being carried around. She will sleep on my lap for hours while I work from home without a peep. She also loves car rides and getting the kids from school.

And, she is SO pretty. Her coat is a bit fluffy and super soft with some brindle markings on the side. Her floppy ears and white belly are adorable. And she grunts like a little piglet when she’s excited. What more could you ask for? This puppy is 10/10. (I’d keep her, but we are already over the HOA pet limit, sigh).
