✅ Shylo’s journey began with a hoarding case involving the seizure of over 30 dogs and puppies. The conditions she lived in were heartbreaking.
✅ Despite her difficult past, Shylo is a loving and sweet girl who is eager to find her forever home.

Shylo is a special dog. She wants so badly to trust and love humans but it’s so hard after what she’s gone through.
She has been ok with playing with my 11 month old pup. I think Shylo is learning from her but isn’t exactly thrilled with her play style. This makes me think she would be great in a home as an only pet, or with a buddy to help her gain confidence.
She knows I’m the human that feeds her and sings to her and tucks her in at night. She is willing to sniff my hand if I hold it out still. She turns her head when I call her name. But jump up on my lap? Not yet. But I’ve only had her for a week. She enjoys being under things - a blanket, a pillow or even a rose bush. She loves to sit and watch - she sits on the stairway and peeks at me to see where I am. She will need a loving patient home. Very chill, laid back. I’m guessing no small kids because she startles so easily. Maybe that’s something she will grow out of. Time will tell. She had a couple accidents in the house the first night. (In my bed, within 2 hours of each other) but since then has been accident free. (Knock on wood)
She will come outside in my tiny fenced yard and explore. She likes to dig and watch birds. She gets a zoomie now and then. Nothing crazy at all. I wish I had more time with her to watch her flourish. She is beautiful, dainty, and just a scared little girl looking for her safe space.
