PUPDATE 1
Meet Schmidt! He is a playful, curious and cuddly pup, that will be a great addition to a family looking for a big dog. Schmidt is a huge cuddle bug when it comes to people, and a playful tank when it comes to other animals. Schmidt does great playing with three big goldens - he loves to wrestle but stops when the older pups have had enough. He doesn’t care one bit about the cat so we think he’d do just fine in a home with cats. He hasn’t been around any little kiddos yet, but he’s definitely a bit of a bulldozer so kids that are a bit older might be best.
Schmidt has a consistent routine each day that consists of breakfast, playtime outside, crate rest, lunch, playtime outside, crate rest, dinner, play time, and chillin on the couch with us. He sleeps through the night in his crate and does wonderful. He’s house trained so far, though he does have lots of opportunities to go outside with us. He’d probably do great with a nice long walk each day in the absence of a big yard and other dogs to play with.
Schmidt’s new family will definitely want to get him to a training class to teach him all the skills he’ll need to be a productive member of society. Other than that, they will thoroughly enjoy this cuddly couch potato!
