Roscoe loves to start his day with a nice walk around the neighborhood while sniffing everything, and has a little break before breakfast. He then spends the majority of his day napping on the couch. He has daily training sessions with his foster parents to work on learning new tricks (sit, down, wait, leave it, paw, stay). Roscoe then has his second walk (~2miles) before dinner and resumes napping and snuggling until bedtime.
Roscoe loves to meet everybody! He will try to say hello to people he comes across on walks, and to guests entering the home.
Roscoe has been friendly with children he meets on his walks, but has not spent time around very young children in the house.
Roscoe has the energy to walk for ~5miles across 2 walks each day, but also seems fine with shorter walks, and he is low energy in the house. Roscoe for the most part is good on a leash but will try to pull if he sees squirrels, rabbits, other people, or dogs.
Roscoe is friendly towards other dogs both inside and outside of the home and he becomes disinterested in them after the first few minutes.
No exposure to cats.
When Roscoe is left alone in the house, he will bark for a short time.
Food cannot be left out around Roscoe. He will try to eat it.
