PUPDATE 2

Ron is a goofy boy who absolutely loves being outside and playing with his fur siblings! Ron is not afraid to jump right in and wrestle with our larger two dogs. A few nights this week, he made it through the night without using his potty pads at all, which is a great sign for potty training! While we’re still working on his tolerance of the crate, Ron typically hangs out all day while we work from home in his puppy pen, and is getting more comfortable with being left alone in it as well when we leave, with only some crying. He’s a smart boy and we love his puppy snuggles!

PUPDATE 1

Ron wakes up from where he sleeps in his puppy pen and gets some snuggles with us & his best friends, our 50 and 60 lb dogs. That doesn't last too long, because pretty soon they are wrestling! We are working from home, so Ron spends most of the day either free roaming my office or in his pen by my side or for small periods of time in his crate.

Ron hasn't met too many people yet, but he does great with us. He does do a lot of puppy nipping and likes to chew on hair. He loves attention! No exposure to children.

He has pretty medium puppy energy. Ron sometimes entertains himself by running back and forth under our bed and does short bursts of play with our resident dogs, but spends a decent amount of the day napping and sleeps through the night. He does well on a leash. Nothing too out of the ordinary!

Ron LOVES our two resident dogs, Emma (50 lbs) and Peter (60 lbs), both pitbulls. He hasn't met any other dogs, yet! He plays really well with them and takes their feedback (like when to leave their food dish alone) well.  Ron has not met cats.

He does scream/cry quite a bit when left alone - but this honestly has improved a lot in the past nine days. He will definitely need more work on crate and pen training when alone, and this might be a concern for those living in an apartment.

Ron is a great puppy! He is pretty typical, still has a lot to learn but is also a quick learner! He's a pretty goofy dog.
