Rene went to his forever family today on August 2, 2020! He now goes by Huck.
Rene is a great puppy who picks up new things quickly. He is very mild mannered but energetic, a true puppy. He is potty regulated and goes when I take him out but will not yet ask to go out.
He loves people adult and children. He has been very receptive to men or women and is not fearful or aggressive with new people.
Rene gets a mile and a half walk every morning. His leash skills have improved dramatically in 2 weeks. He likes walking with my resident dogs. He has a fenced in backyard and runs and plays frequently. He is mild mannered with a puppy level of energy.
He loves other dogs. Rene plays well and wants to interact. We do not have cats but he can be cat tested by Fetch if needed. My resident dog was not immediately accepting, and Rene did not get scared off by him. He was very gentle getting to know him. He is very respectful of my 8-year-old dog that does not want to play, but he had my own year old dog to play with.
He is crated when alone and does well. He does not cry if I crate him to give them all a break. He sleeps in his crate in the kitchen from 10 pm to 5:30 am. He only cried the first night or two for a few minutes. He likes a bed with a pad round it that he can curl up in.
He is a great puppy and has been learning quickly. He did not understand food on a plate was not for him but is learning quickly to leave it alone. Do not leave him with food unattended. He has quickly learned household routine and will make a great addition to a family that will play with him and give him a proper amount of attention. He has a very happy attitude and loves to be loved.
