Meet Reba 🐾
Reba is a 14-week-old sweetheart with the most perfect blend of playful puppy and gentle snuggle bug. While she enjoys a few zoomie sessions and a solid game of fetch each day, her overall energy is calm and surprisingly chill for her age. Her favorite place to be? Right next to her person.
🗓 Daily Routine & Personality
Reba loves companionship and naturally stays close to her foster mom. The world can still feel big and loud sometimes — airplanes, trucks, strong wind, and thunderstorms have startled her. During a recent thunderstorm she barked briefly but settled quickly with cuddles and reassurance. She bonds deeply and feels safest near her people.
She balances short bursts of playful energy with long cozy naps and would happily spend evenings curled up on the couch.
💤 Sleep
Reba currently sleeps in bed with her foster family and has had no nighttime accidents so far.
🚽 Potty Training
She is actively working on potty training and does best with frequent, consistent potty breaks. She’s making good progress but will need continued structure and patience in her forever home.
🦴 Crate & Car Kennel
Reba rides in a small kennel in the car and has not cried at all while driving. She settles nicely and travels well.
At home, she is kenneled occasionally for “puppy rest.” She may protest briefly (think tired toddler energy), but she gives in quickly and usually naps once she settles.
🎓 Training
Reba is very food motivated and eager to learn. She is currently working on:
“Sit”
“Come”
She has only been on a leash for a few days and is already improving quickly.
⚡ Exercise Needs
Reba enjoys:
Fetch
Zoomies
Playtime with her foster family
Gentle exploration at her own pace
She does not require intense exercise but will benefit from daily play and confidence-building outings.
👨👩👧👦 Kids
Reba has been living with toddlers and has done very well. She is affectionate and gentle. She may jump up if kids are holding snacks (we’re working on it), so supervision is recommended while she continues learning her manners.
🐶 Other Dogs
Reba enjoys the resident dog in her foster home and plays appropriately. She would likely be happy with another dog or as an only dog, as long as she has human companionship.
Reba is a soft, loyal little soul who bonds deeply with her people. She’s playful but not over-the-top, affectionate without being demanding, and still discovering the world at her own pace.
If you’re looking for a sweet shadow who will fetch a tennis ball, learn eagerly for treats, and then curl up beside you at the end of the day — Reba might be your perfect match. 🤍🐾
