Polar bear is a happy, goofy guy from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep at night. Anything you want to do, he is very excited to join in on! He loves to go on walks, meet new people and new dogs, or chase squirrels! If you are hanging out, he’s also excited to just lie next to you! He has never met a person who wasn’t his friend, and he insists on meeting everyone he sees! Polar bear has had no exposure to children while in his current foster home.
Polar Bear is always ready to go! He needs at the very least a couple good walks in a day and some play time! He is down to try whatever, especially if his human is coming along! He is a great running buddy! He runs pretty well next to a bike! He loves hikes, water, other dogs, you name it! He is an excellent fitness motivator!
Polar bear is very comfortable with other dogs. He sometimes appears to not even care when he’s meeting a new dog, but he will usually start to play after a little while. He has a noisy play style, meaning he likes to growl and bark at dogs to get them to play. Occasionally he does not understand that when another dog growls it can mean “back off” instead of “I want to play too!”
Polar Bear does well with cats for the most part, he ignores them most of the time. However, if he gets bored he will try to get the cat to play or chase it around, which may scare some cats. He has never shown any intent to “hunt” a cat while in his current foster home. He does not put his mouth or paws on the cat except for gentle kisses.
Polar Bear does very well when left alone in a crate. He only makes noise when he first is left alone or when he hears people near him. He has not been left alone to free roam in his foster home because he has shown an interest in chewing on non-toys.
Polar Bear is a fluffy boy which means he will need regular baths from a groomer, and frequent brushing at home to maintain his coat.
He will add a lot of pep and giggles into your life! If you’re looking for motivation to get some more exercise, as well as constant, screen-free entertainment and the best hugs, look no further!
