Pippin wakes up when we do at 5:30 am. He goes out to go potty. We wait a while because he usually goes several times. He eats at 6 am, noon, and 6 pm. He eats in his crate. He plays with his brother or my dog, naps or chews on his toys throughout the day. He will crate when I leave and likes to let me know he is ready to get out when I get home. As a puppy of his age, Pippin still has occasional accidents in the house but that has been improving each day.

Pippin has been very good meeting new people. He greets them nicely but with enthusiasm and hasn't needed many reminders to not jump up.

Pippin has been wonderful with my 5 year old grandson. When excited, he can get a little mouthy, as most puppies do, but corrects himself with directions.

He is medium energy level. He loves to run around the fenced backyard and lay in the grass and chew on toys. He likes a walk but doesn’t need a walk to get rid of energy as long as he has another dog to play with.

He loves to play with other dogs so he would do better with another playmate or frequent opportunities to be with other dogs. We noted he does play fair and lets others take the toys.

Pippin sleeps in his crate or chew on toys in his crate when home alone. If I am not in the room he snoozes on the couch or lays on the floor and chews on toys appropriately. He likes to choose new toys out of the toy box.

Pippin was with his litter mates for 4 months so he is very used to other dogs being around. He might struggle as an only dog unless there are ample opportunities to interact with dogs. He is a big snuggler and loves attention from his people. He is a big puppy so it’s safe to say he will be a good size adult dog. He is more laid back and likes to lie in the same room as his person. He would benefit from training in a puppy class.
