Pierro found his family on November 13, 2020!

I get up early with my foster mama and she takes me outside immediately and puts me on a leash. She will not let me back in the house until I go potty. I then get breakfast and I am taken outside again. I don’t really like going outside much so, again, I am put on a leash and this helps me to focus on potty duty! I am slowly learning the ropes. When my foster mama leaves for work, I cuddle with the family as I really do not like my crate. All day I spend as close to my foster family as possible. I will play or cuddle all day long and will not rest until you do! I have lots of energy.

I love all people and will give anyone lots of kisses inside or outside the home. I love being held and I love kissing people’s faces. I really love playing tag with kids of all ages. I don’t mind dogs. I don’t bark at them and I will play with them, but I don’t really care one way or the other. I have been around a dog who didn’t like other dogs and I got the message and ran away!

Kids, kids, kids, kids…. Play, play, play, play! Kids are great because they have a lot of energy like me! They can chase me, and they can hold me. I will give kisses and sometimes my puppy kisses nibble their noses and it hurts but I don’t mean to hurt them I just really want to show them my affection.

I am a puppy and I have a lot of energy. As soon as I came home to my foster family, I ran up the stairs, played tug-of-war, played tag, chewed on my toys, jumped up and down and explored. They said I was the most energetic pup they fostered so far. As soon as they sat down though I did too. I made sure to make my way on their lap because I am not happy if I am too far from my humans and I will tell you about it. Don’t worry though, if you want to relax for hours I will be happy to do so right on your lap or curled in a ball next to your leg and if there are covers… I am under and snuggled in! I am a lap dog J Oh, and I don’t really go on walks. I am not too interested. I get my exercise from running around the house.

I like dogs inside and outside! I haven't met a cat.

I said, I am a playful, cuddly lap dog. Being home alone makes me cry, literally, I dog cry. I get crated when I am alone and do not like it and I am very loud and tell the world about it. I will eventually settle down but it takes me a bit. I may be better crated in a kitchen but really I just don’t like being alone. I would be happy to come with you wherever you go and love car rides! This also goes for bedtime. PLEASE let me sleep with you. My foster family crates me to try to get me used to it but I don’t like it and I am much happier when they let me cuddle up to them in their warm beds. Did I mention yet that I don’t like to be cold?

I am 5# of pure love, spunk and dynamite! I will play and run with you all day or I will cuddle on your lap, feet, or in a blanket all day. I don’t care as long as I have your attention. You say you would like to walk me around the neighborhood zipped up in your winter coat? Great, I’m in! You say you would like to put me in a basket and bike me around town, or in your purse, or on your lap for a long car ride? Yippe, I’m in! I will let you know though, if I am not where I want to be like in my crate. I will put on quite the vocal show for a good 20 minutes before I settle down. My foster mama says it is very dramatic and hard on her ears. I will also vocalize when I want something I am not getting. It is not quite as dramatic, but it is vocal nonetheless. My foster family ignores me. This hasn’t made much of a difference to me yet but I am still very young and I have A LOT to learn. What I have going for me right now is that I am super adorable, loveable, fun, energetic, I love everyone, I give at least 1,000 kisses a day and I AM the epitome of a lap dog! I have so much personality and I have so much I want to give I just don’t know how to contain myself as I have not yet learned the proper manners for communicating my wants and needs. So, when you do take me home please be patient with my communication style and help me learn the proper manners to be a well-mannered dog. I think I would love puppy classes! I really want a family that loves my constant affection, cuteness and desire to be a full-time playful, cuddly lap dog. I would really like to be on the furniture with you and I would really like to sleep with you!
