Phoebe was rescued 6 years ago after being born in Mississippi and then to Tennessee and then adopted in Waukesha at about 3 months old. She is a Black lab / Catahoula leopard dog mix. She has been a great pup for the time we've had with her and loves to play frisbee until she nearly falls over. She has grown up with 2 kids, aged 10 and 7 now, and has been a loving protector for them and companion as well. No bite history and not aggressive, although does not like baseball caps or loud noises given some underlying nervousness / anxiety issues for which she takes fluoxetine and trazodone per her veterinarian. The best home would be a quiet one where she could be an only-pet and able to be one-on-one with her family. She is crate trained and walks very well on a leash, never pulling you along. She has been a great pup for us and is always by our side; the only reason for re-homing is a change in family.
