Pete is a love! His daily routine typically includes 2 long walks (one morning and one evening) and some time where he can run free and romp around. He walks well on a leash - doesn't pull unless distracted by small animals or food. He is fully crate trained, although he roams free when we are gone and has no troubles. At night, he sleeps outside our bedrooms, occasionally coming in to check on us throughout the night. Pete has never had an accident inside, and will whine at the door when he needs to go potty. He is friendly with other dogs, but occasionally barks out of excitement when meeting or playing with them. Pete is a smart and active dog - he needs both physical and mental stimulation every day. If his needs are not met, he will intermittently bark until he receives the stimulation he needs. He knows a variety of commands - sit, shake, down, stay, drop, and we are working on more. He loves to cuddle, give kisses, and ultimately be near his family. We can't wait to see him go to a loving home!
