Pebbles is just the best mom. She is always watching her four loves. She grooms them, feeds them, cleans them and lets them play. She lets me handle each one, but she watches me closely.
Sometimes she will come with the pup to my lap, but she will only lick my hand. It’s like she is warning me that I better not do anything to upset her little love. When I return the pup to her, she snuggles it and grooms it and nudges it back into the fold.
She is curious, gentle, soft, semi-trusting and wary at the same time. She is very timid and when I slowly try to pet her, she turns and jumps back to her loves. She is one focused mama!
She only potties on the pee pads just outside the puppy pen so I’m thinking she may be potty trained, but no way to tell for sure.
