Pawpaw Joe is looking to retire and spend his remaining days basking in the sun, watching squirrels, and taking naps!
He’s not the old man who yells “get off my lawn”, in fact, he welcomes friends on his lawn! Dog friends, squirrel friends, even a cat friend!
Joey was rescued in Alabama and has been in Wisconsin since January 3rd. It’s a new year, new life for this boy! Joey is very mellow, house trained, and so adorable when his excitement comes out!
Joe is currently on Carprofen for arthritis; he has arthritis in both hips, along with his right elbow. He’s also recovering from a chronic bacterial ear infection that has rendered him deaf. This sweet boy is thriving in Wisconsin, and has a lot of life left in him!
