Updates

Pat found his forever home September 25, 2021!

We wake up around 4:30 am, take a potty and poop break as well as play time in the yard, then eat breakfast and continue to play both inside and outside for about 60-90 minutes. When foster mom/dad are at work (8 hours, usually 8am to 4pm), all dogs are crated and do well. From 4pm to 9pm, we rotate the resident and foster dogs for play time and snuggles, then it's time for bed! He sleeps through the night in his crate.

Pat does very well with all people, although she can be a little shy. He did fine at the vet meeting people outside the home and quickly warms up to new people inside the home. Pat has not met any children.

Pat is not leash trained as he is not fully vaccinated (due to her age) so we don't want to put him at risk of contracting any infectious diseases. He has medium energy levels and plays with siblings for 4-6 hours per day.

Pat does well with other dogs and ignores our cat. He does chew on non-toys, which is very typical for all puppies. He is 80% potty trained with an accident every 2-3 days and easily redirected.

Early on, Pat would cry initially for a few minutes when left alone but since settling in has been quiet in his crate. Now he is in his crate while we are at work (8 hours) and does well.

Pat is the largest of his litter and has big paws. We aren't sure how big mom and dad are, but we anticipate he'll be a big dude!
