Pancho found his family June 9, 2021!
Pancho likes to start his day with you. He is flexible if you want to sleep in or get up early. He is let outside while water and food are put into his bowls. Then he comes in for breakfast. He eats his food laying down because he knows it is adorable and he wants to please. Pancho then finds his people and settles in for a morning nap. About 2 hours after eating, he is ready for a walk/run or just time to go sniff around outside.
He will seek out any other dogs, people, friends, or snuggle up for another nap. He rarely barks, even when other dogs are barking. Pancho seems to keep his cool very well. He is a polite doggo - asking for permission to snuggle on the couch. (Which is not allowed, but he still asks every day with one paw on the couch and a face that says "please?") He knows his commands in Spanish but is happy to tilt his head to the side to patiently remind you if he doesnt understand you. He is a social, happy, loving, loyal puppy.
Pancho is great with kids, a little bigger for toddlers who aren't so great on their feet. (He is bigger than he thinks, so his body awareness is off a little.) He recently met a baby and did well! Supervision will be key in introducing young kids.
He has higher energy outside - happy to roll around on the ground and jog around the yard. Inside he is a floppy snuggly dog. Sleeping on the floor for hours.
Pancho loves all living things. Super interested in other dogs, kids, etc. He is very sweet and kind. Pancho does not live with cats.
He sleeps soundly in a kennel area when left alone. Pancho hasn't shown interest in chewing or anything. I am told he likes to collect shoes, but does not chew on them.
Pancho was treated with a round of antibiotics for anaplasma. He does not show any clinicals signs of the disease and this was a precaution to treat him.
Pancho is one of a kind, if you have ever wanted a lazy baby bear - that basically just wants to cuddle all day and remind you how great life is - this is your guy! Everyone falls in love with Pancho! He is just that kind of guy. Also his fur is that of silk - so soft. Pancho loves being pet!
