Updates

Orville found his family September 7, 2021!

Orville wakes up around 6am for potty, breakfast and play, nap time around 8 or 9am until about 11am when up for potty, lunch, and play; nap time around 1 or 2 pm and awake again around 4pm for potty, dinner, and play. Bedtime around 8 or 9 pm and sleeps through the night in his kennel with his brother and sister.

He loves to meet new people and make friends because it means more pets and belly rubs...and maybe some treats. Orville gets excited to meet new people.

Orville has been exposed to children age 6+ and does well with them. He is okay with being held and handled and enjoys playing tug and chase with his human friends.

Like most puppies Orville has bursts of energy followed by naps. He has a medium level of energy and loves to play tug with toys and chase and play with his siblings. He will need routine play time and will need to be leash trained for walks.

Orville has integrated well with a large, adult German Shepherd and of course with his siblings he is very comfortable. He has not been exposed to other dogs outside of the home. When he sees other dogs passing by, he acknowledges that he sees them by looking, but then disengages and goes about his business.

Orville has not been exposed to any cats or other pets.

As a puppy, Orville is not left alone unkenneled. When it's time to kennel he goes into the kennel without any issue and will settle in with a chew toy or a nap. Currently he is kenneled with his siblings, so not sure how he will do alone.

Orville is a very smart dog and very easily trained. He took to potty training very quickly and does his business outside about 80% of the time. He alerts at the door when he needs to go out. He is already grasping commands such as 'sit' and 'come' and loves treats for motivation and reward. He is very friendly and smart! This little guy has lots of love to give!
