It’s a happily ever after for Odin! -October 2, 2020

After a solid night sleep, Odin gets up around 8 am, eats, and runs and plays with his foster brother, Clyde. Depending on the day, if the people have to leave for work/school, he will be crated for a few hours or else just hang out with his people. He will go out a few more times during the day and then eat dinner around 5 pm. He will have an evening walk and go out once more before going to bed in his crate around 10 pm. Odin whines for a few minutes when he is crated.

He loves people including kids! Everyone who meets him falls in love with him because he invented "puppy dog eyes" and will give them lots of puppy kisses. Odin has met kids ages 4-15 years old.  He loves to run and play but is just as happy to snuggle up and adore his people.

Odin is a pretty medium energy puppy. He loves to zip around the large yard and field and then sit or lay down for a few minutes before getting up and zipping around again as fast as he can. He also has a funny little hop dance that he does with his toys. He is not thrilled with walking on a leash but he will do it and just needs more work with walking on a leash. Odin enjoys swimming in the kiddie pool.

He has not been exposed to cats but currently lives with a slightly older husky puppy twice his size named Clyde. Odin can be cat tested by Fetch if needed.  Odin loves to play with Clyde and doesn't seem to realize that he is actually smaller than him. He loves Clyde and will even go into Clyde's crate with him when told to get in their kennels for bed. He tends to be more submissive with other dogs he has met.

Odin has not been left alone often so when he is, he has a little separation anxiety and will whine for a few minutes. Generally if he is left with something to chew on and some sort of blanket or toy, and a tv or music, he does better.

He was very skittish when he first came to stay with us. Odin can still be that way a little bit when in an unfamiliar place or with new people. Mostly he is just the sweetest, most loving puppy boy to everyone he meets. He is very eager to please and play and make his people happy!
