Updates

Myah starts her day waking up her foster parents around 7:30 AM for a potty break. Depending on her parents' work schedule, she will usually relax with her foster parents until mid-morning and go for her first walk. She will then either be crated with a few potty breaks in between while her foster parents are at work, or play by herself or curl up on the couch with a foster parent if they are working from home. She then concludes her day with an evening walk and begs to be allowed to sleep on her foster parents' bed for lots of snuggles!

Myah loves to make human and dog friends! She will want to say hello to just about every human she encounters, and will happily wag her tail and give kisses if allowed. She loves to receive pets and will happily snuggle with new people! She is still working on her manners and refraining on jumping on new people when she gets excited.

Myah has been exposed to older children at a sitter's home during Christmas and did great! She has not been exposed to younger children, but would likely need to be supervised because she is still a jumpy and mouthy puppy.

Myah loves to take long walks! She enjoys taking in all of the sights, smells, and people that her foster home's area in downtown Madison has to offer. We are still working on our leash manners, as she likes to pull when she gets excited. She is a typical puppy and plays hard and crashes hard. Once she gets her walk in, she will likely have some zoomies, then snuggle on the couch when she gets her energy out.

Myah loves other dogs! She has recently started going to doggy daycare and has received positive feedback on her behavior. She loves to introduce herself to new puppy friends on walks and will usually attempt to play.

Myah has not been exposed to cats in her current foster home, but she received positive feedback on her interactions with cats in her Louisiana foster home.

Myah will sometimes crash on the couch when left alone, but more than likely will get into something she shouldn't. (She is a renowned shoe thief!)

Myah is doing well learning new tricks! She has mastered sit and down and is making great progress on stay, shake, and come.

Overall, Myah is an extremely sweet and snuggly dog with so much love to give. She has a very affectionate personality and aims to please. She would make a wonderful addition to any family who is willing to return all of the love she is wiling to give!
