Muppet was picked up in rural Wisconsin after he has been running around loose for months. He was neglected and had become horribly matted. He had to be completely shaved and underneath all that matting was a happy, friendly, bouncy little guy. Muppet looks a little funny now without any hair, but once he grows out he is going to be the cutest little fluffball!
Muppet gets along great with other dogs, cats, and every person he has met. He is perfectly behaved in his crate and great on a leash. I take him outside to potty on a schedule just to make sure he gets the hang of house training, but so far he has not had any accidents in the house.
Muppet loves cuddles, rolling around in blankets on the couch, and playing with squeaky toys. When he is very excited, like when he first sees you in the morning, he will stand up on his hind legs and wave both his front feet at you to let you know how much he loves you.
We do not know Muppet’s exact age or breed, but the vet estimated him to be about 2 years old and possibly a miniature poodle mix. He does not shed and will need regular haircuts once his hair grows out.
After everything he’s been through, Muppet is more than ready to find a forever home where he can be someone’s cherished little sidekick.
