Jubilee is growing up fast! Now almost 5 months old, this resilient and joyful girl continues to prove that being blind doesn't slow her down one bit. She has blossomed into an active, curious pup who navigates her world with confidence and a wagging tail.

Her Personality

Jubilee is a true social butterfly. She absolutely loves meeting new people and greets every new dog or cat she encounters with enthusiasm. She thrives in a fenced yard where she can safely explore, play with her toys, and keep herself busy with puppy "zoomies."

After a day of activity, she remains a dedicated "Snuggle Pup," ready to curl up in your lap and soak up all the affection you can give.

Skills & Training

Jubilee is a quick study!

  • Leash Work: She is making great progress on her leash skills. Remarkably, she learns new walking routes very quickly, using her other senses to map out the neighborhood like a pro.

  • Routine: She is continuing to master her crate and potty training. She is very comfortable overnight in her crate and is excellent about asking to go out by pining at the back door.

Living with Other Pets

Jubilee is very "pro-pet" and wants to be friends with everyone.

  • Dogs: She is great with other dogs and enjoys their company, although being blind, she does not pick up on body language. She is best suited for a dog that is tolerant of puppy energy.

  • Cats: Jubilee is "cat-curious" and can live successfully with feline friends who know how to keep their distance. Because she cannot see social cues, she is currently struggling to learn physical boundaries with cats. She would do best in a home with "dog-savvy" cats or a family willing to help her navigate these introductions with patience and a few baby gates!

Special Needs Note

Jubilee was born with congenital retinal atrophy, but she doesn't know she's different. Adopting a blind puppy like Jubilee is an incredibly rewarding experience. It builds a unique bond of trust and communication. With a consistent environment and a little guidance, she will continue to thrive and inspire everyone she meets.

She will be adopted out with an addendum to her contract to ensure she is spayed at an appropriate age.
