Updates
August 20 marked Mozart’s official adoption day!
Mozart's day start with a walk and potty break. He walks pretty gentle on leash, doesn't really pull much except when there's squirrel or rabbits. After, we just hang around in the apartment. He likes getting pets and some belly rubs, or sometimes a long hug from you :) He stays in the crate during the day. At first, he might whine a little bit but he settles down pretty quickly. He's just a really mellow guy in general. After work, Mozart gets more walks and play time with us, and we just chill together after. Whenever you approach him, he'd wiggle non-stop! He's a very, very happy guy!
I'm not sure how Mozart interacts with kids, but he likes to hang out with adults and get lots of cuddles, pats and belly rubs. I think he'd be fine with kids, since he's a very gentle guy.
Mozart is a medium energy dog. He's pretty chill when we're out for walks. He likes to sniff around.
I personally don't have cats, so I'm not sure how he'd do with them. Fetch can cat test Mozart if needed. He does fine with other dogs. My resident dog is a high energy pup. Mozart doesn't really play with him, but also doesn't mind when he's around. Sometimes my dog can get into his face because of excitement, but Mozart doesn't mind.
Mozart is crated when we're gone. He would jump on the counter sometimes, so that's something to pay attention to.
He went through heartworm treatment in Louisiana and will clear crate rest on August 25. After that date, he will be all set for his forever home.
Mozart is a really laid back dog in general. He's very wiggly, and he likes hanging around with people. With some basic obedience training, I think he'll be great!
