PUPDATE 2

Miss Macadamia has really been thriving these last couple weeks. After getting her tummy issues under control, she is a happy and energetic pup and is gaining healthy weight. She has been showing a more playful side as she sprints up and down the stairs and get the zoomies with her favorite fluff toy. If a toy makes noise, she’s all about it. After a little bit of puppy energy, she settles in to chew on toys until it’s time to nap. The cooler the temperature has gotten, the more Mac enjoys sleeping under blankets. Leash manners have improved and she’s more willing to explore, though we are still shy when meeting new people.

PUDPATE 1

Macadamia, AKA Mac, hangs out and chews on toys and naps on and off throughout the day most days. I have been working from home more, so she gets to play with her sister and my resident dogs through the day. I put her down for a nap in her kennel for a few hours mid-day as well. Miss Mac is quite the cuddle bug, when it's time to sleep she is all about the cuddles with any dog, human, or cat that will let her cuddle with her.

Mac is hesitant when first meeting people. She takes some time to warm up to adults and does best when the person will sit on the ground and let her come to them. She has not had interactions with children besides an infant. She was curious and gentle when meeting the tiny human.

She is a medium energy level pup with random spurts of high energy when she really gets going. Macadamia is content playing with chew toys and some play time without needing to release much more energy to take lots of naps.

Initially when meeting my resident dogs, she was very submissive, but after a little bit she is very comfortable around them. Mac will play and cuddle up next to my resident boxer pup and tries to be friends with my older corgi, though she wants nothing to do with puppies. Mac doesn't pay much attention to my cats unless they're darting around like crazies. She has tried cuddling with one of my cats a couple times and has successfully made it happen twice.

Mac does well in her kennel! She doesn't always go in by herself, but once in she is decently quiet and has left her crate clean. Since she is still very puppy and chews on things, I have not tried leaving her out unsupervised.

Macadamia is the sweetest little girl there is. She thrives on cuddle time and has started enjoying sleeping under blankets as well. Miss Mac is working on gaining some weight and getting past some tummy issues currently, but she can't wait to meet you! She would likely do best in a quieter home that enjoys time outside so she can roll around in the grass. When you meet her, just be patient with her shyness and she will be your best friend!
