Lucky is a sweet little puppy who was born in foster care. His mama was found in Louisiana as a stray, brought to Wisconsin with Fetch, and had Lucky and his siblings here! Lucky looks the most like his mama out of the litter, with wiry hair. He does shed a bit, but not a ton. His mama weighs 19 pounds, and we expect Lucky to be around that size full grown. We don’t know anything about dad, though, so it’s a bit of a guess!
Lucky is a happy guy who loves everyone. His tail is always wagging. He loves all people, kids, and other puppies. He is a little timid with big dogs but will cautiously go up to them and wag his tail to see their reaction. If they’re receptive to him, he will excitedly jump all over them. Lucky LOVES cats, thumping his tail when he sees them, snuggling, and even playing. Our cats were comfortable with him right away, which isn't common for them, so that might say something! He has been around goats, chickens, and donkeys and does great with all of them.
Lucky is also great in the car and enjoys going for rides. He loves people and did wonderfully in a busy shoppe, where he even snuggled up for a nap in a gym bag. When he tuckers out on walks he likes to be carried in the bag to rest up until he’s ready to cruise again.
Potty training is going well—Lucky consistently goes when we take him outside, though he's had just a few typical puppy accidents. He’s working on basic commands and is getting there with “sit.” He knows “no” though!
He sleeps in his crate at night, and while he whines a little to begin with, he quickly settles down. He also does well in the crate when we’re gone.
Lucky is excited to meet his forever family and learn all his puppy skills!
