We took Lou in when a friend of a friend was supposedly losing their housing and needed a short term place for her. This was April of last year. After 2 months, the previous owner said they didn't want her back and that I was her forever home. She was 11 months old, no shots and not fixed and went thru her first heat.
Now she is currently up to date on all shots and spayed. Her vet is Chalet Vet in Stoughton.
Our older German Shepherd is not a fan of Lou (The Shepherd is a jerk to everyone) and the two tussle.....it's the Shepherd that instigates. Lou gets along with the elderly maltipoo we have and has been perfect about food, treats, and showing no aggression.
She is potty trained and crate trained. Walks well on a leash but at nearly 80 lbs, is a lot to handle.
Our home is small, too small for two dogs of this size...she was supposed to be with us for a month or two max.
So, we need to find a home that has the energy and room for her.
People wise, she is all love and derp.....but likes to jump ( working on that) so maybe caution around smaller kids. She does well with men, women, and kids.
Knows sit, back off, outside, and no. Loves to chew on her chew toys and sticks. Will destroy stuffies in seconds.
