Li’l Roo is a happy, affectionate little guy with a gentle spirit and an endless love for snuggles. He’s sweet, easy-going, and always ready to soak up attention.
Roo currently lives with a 30 lb dog and coexists peacefully, though he prefers calm company over playtime. He’d thrive as an only dog or with another mellow pup who isn't interested in playing with him. Roo spent a few days with a sitter's cats and simply ignored them, even when they were hissing at him. He did not bark at or chase them. He has met children at events and accepted their pets, but a quieter home may be best suited for him.
Roo enjoys a routine that includes three 15-minute walks a day—morning, midday, and evening. He walks nicely on a leash and loves his outings! Occasionally, he’ll let out a few soft barks when passing people or other dogs, but he quickly moves along and keeps up with enthusiasm.
Roo is housetrained and free-roams alongside my dog during the workday. He also sleeps peacefully in my bed at night. During his first two weeks with me, he would bark when I left, but now that we’ve established a consistent departure routine, he settles quickly and remains quiet in my apartment.
Besides the grey on his face, you’d never guess that Roo is a senior! He’s spry, easily hops onto the bed or couch, and handles stairs with no problem. What Roo truly hopes for is a forever owner who loves snuggling as much as he does!
