PUPDATE 2

Kyomi continues to be the sweetest girl. She loves running around the yard, playing with toys, and curling up on the couch. She's never far from her people and would be perfect for someone looking for a best friend!

PUPDATE 1

Kyomi has the most energy first thing in the morning, so she goes for a walk and plays with toys before crashing out on the couch for the rest of the day. Her favorite thing is to cuddle up to you and take a nap.

She loves people and bonds very quickly. Kyomi has no exposure to children. This smart pup is able to sit on command and responds to her name!

Kyomi does needs a moderate amount of exercise and seems to get tired after about 10 minutes of walking. A typical day includes two, 10-15 minute walks. She is good on leash especially if you have treats!

She is gentle and friendly with other dogs and is always looking for a new friend to play with.  Kyomi has not met cats in her foster home.

When alone, she is more likely to get into trouble like finding things on counters to chew, so Kyomi stays in her crate when no one is home.

The Wisconsin vet noted a heart murmur however no signs of congestive heart failure were noted on the exam.  Adopters should monitor this condition with their vet.  Kyomi will need a dental in the next 1-2 years. In the mean time she can eat tartar control treats to stop new tartar accumulation.

Kyomi's jaw is misaligned, so her tongue is usually hanging out. It's the perfect way to show off her playful and goofy personality!
